Tobi Adegoke, a Delaware based choir director has been named the Gospel Choice Music
Awards Choir Director of the year 2020!
Tobi who was raised in a large, happy, loving and God–fearing home in Africa began directing choirs about twenty years ago.
He went on to study Music Production and Audio Engineering at the School of Audio Engineering, SAE, South Africa.
After graduation from SAE with honors, Tobi moved forward with his work in the music ministry by working with and training choirs in Nigeria, The Netherlands , France and Italy.
Popularly called Tobikeyz, Tobi continued working as a choir director after moving to the United States and eventually settled in Delaware in 2016 to direct the choir at Victory Christian Fellowship, New Castle.
Tobi is greatly loved by his choir members and works tirelessly to see the name of God glorified in the worship of His Saints. The Lord truly inhabits the praises of His people and we can only enter His gates with thanksgiving so it is critical that true praise and worship is always offered up by the saints.
Tobi together with his wife wrote a book, ‘Between me and that Mic’ that is meant to be a
handbook for choir directors, choir members and worship leaders. This book covers various key areas such as the preparing to lead worship, the difference between praise and worship, the difference between practice and rehearsal, amongst others.

While diligently directing the choir of his home church, his passion to see all people worship
also led to the creation of his multimedia production company Tobikeyz Productions and the
group Edify Magnify Praise, E.M.P. for short, a team of anointed worshippers that goes forth to minister in praise and worship with the children of God.
Tobi is a loving husband and dad who loves the scripture Proverbs 22:29, “Seest thou a man
diligent in his work? He will stand before kings; he shall not stand before mean men.”
